Scripture says to test the spirits and take what is good and leave what is bad. The only people I know that think the enneagram is evil are Christians who only listen to what others tell them and don't test things themselves with scripture and the holy Spirit. There is nothing wrong with praying directly to Jesus. The Catholic church acknowledges that Jesus is our one mediator and his role as mediator is to bring us into relation with the father. We acknowledge in 1 Timothy 2:5 and Hebrews 7:24-25 that Christ is our one mediator and intercessor. However we are all called to be mediators of God's message and to intercede for each other. To pray for one another. He even asks many of his compatriots to pray for him as he is praying for them. Does this prayer detract from Jesus? I would say no because the mediator is still praying to Jesus. In the same sense we know that those who have gone before us living a good and holy life in Christ Jesus were saved and are with God. They are not dead to sin. We know that life persists beyond death because of our one Mediator. In the same sense the saints who we ask for prayers from mediate and pray for us. They do not have power in themselves and in turn give it back to God himself. We see this in revelation that they take the incense (prayers of the saints) being brought by angels in front of God. How can we deny that they are taking our prayers and making humble offerings back to God through Jesus? For this reason Catholics to ask for intercession from Saints as I would ask Frank to pray for me or Paul would ask his brethren to pray for him. I think we have to define what free will is because . I do believe we have a free will but it’s not outside the confines of God’s decree. The Bible is clear that no one seeks after God when left to our own choice. Before the fall Adam and Eve were truly free to choose between righteousness and unrighteousness. But after the fall we are left to freely choose between sin. God elects before we do anything good or bad whom He shows compassion and mercy to. Jacob He loved , Esau He hated, Romans 9. Our salvation is 100% an act of God. It’s not of our works, Ephesians 2:8-10. The absolute sovereignty of God is crucial in understanding soteriology amongst other biblical doctrine. I absolutely think Arminians are Christians but that theology weakens the power of God and His sovereignty by exalting man as a participant in God’s will. Make no mistake, we are 100% responsible for our sin. But we are 0% responsible for our salvation.

Everyone would agree that the impact event itself happened, Jesus rising from the dead, but their varying accounts surrounding the event might not match up. Unfortunately acceptance and tolerance today is only a one way street and if you are Christian, then you are evil. As a Christian we know God gave us free will and has allowed people to choose their own path. Many, including Christians, wander off that path and some never find their way back. But I believe we are to love our neighbors as we would want them to love us and show them the path to Jesus. I think if Jesus was here today he too would be sitting amongst the LGBTQ community preaching love but quoting scripture and trying to guide who was willing to a path of salvation. I believe it’s in the Bible that says it’s better to preach to 100 sinners to save 1 than 100 believers who are already saved? We shouldn’t force Christianity on anyone who doesn’t want it nor should we condemn them for their lifestyle. It’s their free will to choose their life.
